Alamo Creek Park. 7601 Shady Creek Park, Dublin.
Small, park off Willow Creek Road near the border of San Ramon and Dublin. The Alamo Creek Trail runs both North and South of the park and there are several spots to paint. Hard to believe this much nature is nestled between houses and apartments.
Small park with breath-taking views of Dublin. Golden rolling hills, ponds, distant mountains, and more.
Arroyo Mocho Trail runs from the canal along 680 all the way to Isabel (Hwy 84) where it turns into the Arroyo Bike Trail. Just behind the Outlet Mall off Stoneridge Road/Jack London Road lies a lovely trail along the canal and between the fields.
On Grafton Street between Gleason Drive and Central Parkway is a magnificent pedestrian bridge: a little of Venice!
Creek View Drive, Dublin. Off Gleason Road, before the Humane Society and SPCA, is a charming, paved path that winds between housing developments. Plenty of large Live Oaks, trickling creeks, and wild turkeys to capture on canvas.
Park off Tassajara Road just past the horse stables on the left, and take the trail across the foot bridge. Golden hills tower above, live oaks and eucalyptus groves, and even a subtle military bunker and a not-so-subtle satellite dish.
6600 Donlon Way, Dublin. Old buildings (borrowed from Pleasanton), gravestones, and a dense copse of trees hides the freeway. Not a bad place to paint!
